About us: the people behind Blood Interpretation
/en-gb/about/
What this site is
Blood Interpretation helps you make sense of your blood test results. Not one marker at a time, but the whole printout: how the lines are laid out, what a flag means, what a group of tests says together, and what it leaves open. The full report applies that same explanation to your own results.
It is published by Smart Medical Care, a registered company named in the legal notice. The site explains groups of tests rather than single markers taken in isolation, because one value read on its own is what most often leads someone to the wrong conclusion.
The team, and the company behind it
These pages are written and reviewed by Team Blood Interpretation, the editorial and medical team of the site. The site is published by Smart Medical Care, a registered company whose details appear in the legal notice. Responsibility for everything here rests with that company, and it can be contacted at the address published there.
The team works within rules set by the scientific and ethics committee: twelve independent doctors from twelve specialties, bound by a signed charter, who check the medical accuracy of what the site publishes and the limits it states.
How the pages are made
How a page is written, which sources it may cite, what medical review covers and how errors are corrected is set out in our editorial method.
Corrections are welcome and are made openly: a corrected page carries a new review date.
